Cancellation Policy

Cottages : For changes or cancellations please contact the reservation center at 1-866-644-6727. Changes or cancellations made up to close of business 15 days or more prior to your arrival date will result in loss of $8 reservation fee per reservation. Cancellations made 14 days or less of your scheduled arrival date will result in the loss of the first night’s cottage rental fee and $8 reservation fee. Cancellations made on or after your scheduled arrival you must contact the park directly. Guests not checked in by 11:00am on the second day will forfeit all money paid. No refunds are given when the stay is shortened to less than the required minimum stay. For changes and cancellations of reservations paid by credit card, you will be required to verify the card number.

Discount Program Summary

Passport America Card
• 50% discount off regular camping fees, Sunday through Wednesday.
Valid only at the following parks: Alum Creek, Barkcamp, Buck Creek, Caesar Creek, Cowan Lake, Delaware, Dillon, East Fork, East Harbor, Grand Lake St. Marys, Hueston Woods, Rocky Fork, and Stonelick.
• 10% discount off regular cottage rates, Sunday through Thursday.
Valid only at the following parks: Buck Creek, Cowan Lake, and Dillon.
• Holidays are excluded.
• Cards are purchased from Passport America, 800/283-7183.
Golden Buckeye
• 50% discount off camping fees, Sunday through Thursday.
• 10% discount off camping fees, Friday and Saturday.
• 10% discount off total rate for all other getaway rentals, cottages and lodge rooms any night.
VA Disability/POW
• Free camping for Ohio residents who are former prisoners of war or who are honorably discharged veterans with a permanent and total disability as determined by the Veterans Administration. Qualified individuals will either have one of these two licenses plates, or a letter from the Veterans Administration stating they qualify for free camping.
• This discount is only available for reservations by calling 1-866-644-6727 or upon arrival at the park of interest.
Please Note

• No discount can be used in combination with other discounts or promotions.
• The use of any discount card or discount program is limited to the single site or cottage that will be occupied by the person that the discount card or discount program was issued to.
• Reservations must be in the cardholders name and the cardholder must occupy the site. Cardholder must be present at check in.
• Discount cardholder can not use any discount card or discount program to pay for the site or cottage of another person(S).
• Proof of discount is required upon arrival. You will be charged an additional fee if you are unable to provide proof.

Tax Exempt Organizations

Groups who would like to use their tax-exempt status for Cottage Rentals will need to make their reservations by calling 1-866-644-6727. You will be required to have your Ohio Certified Tax Exemption Form upon arrival at the Park. If you do not provide this you will be required to pay the remaining balance.
