Driving Directions

From Oak Hill: turn on State Route 279 west, go approximately 2 miles. Cross the bridge, turn right on Tommy Been Road. Go approximately 1 mile to picnic area, turn right into park and proceed around parking lot, the shelter is on the right. From State Route 139, turn on State Route 279 east, go approximately 9 miles. Turn left just past the park entrance sign. Go approximately 1 mile to the picnic area, turn right into park and proceed around parking lot; the shelter is on the right.

Cancellation/Transfer Policy
For changes or cancellations, please contact the reservation center at 1-866-644-6727. You may also cancel your reservation online by logging on to your account and viewing reservation details. Changes or cancellations made up to the close of business 15 days or more prior to your arrival date will result in the loss of the $8.25 reservation fee for each reservation. Changes or cancellations made 14 days or less prior to your scheduled arrival date will result in the loss of the rental fee and the $8.25 reservation fee. If you cancel a reservation, the cancelled facility will not be available for reservation until 7am the following morning when new inventories are released. For changes and cancellations of reservations paid by credit card, you will be required to verify the card number. If you reserve a day use facility for the first day it is available for a reservation, you may not make any changes to that reservation, except for the number of occupants, so long as the maximum capacity of the facility is not exceeded.

GIFT CARD	GUEST WHO CANCEL A RESERVATION MAY BE OFFERED THEIR REFUND IN THE FORM OF AN OHIO STATE PARK GIFT CARD, WHICH MAY BE USED FOR FUTURE RESERVTIONS OR AS CASH AT ANY OHIO STATE PARK RETAIL LOCATION AND SELECT CONCESSION OPERATED LOCATIONS.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION	THERE IS ANOTHER JACKSON LAKE, LOCATED NEAR CANAL WINCHESTER, OHIO, WHICH HAS A POOL AND ALCOHOL IS PERMITTED.
NO SHOW POLICY	FAILURE TO ARRIVE ON THE DATE OF THE RESERVATION DOES NOT CONSTITUTE GROUNDS FOR A REFUND. FEES FOR THE UNUSED RESERVATION WILL BE FORFEITED.
OPEN FIRES	NO FIRES ARE PERMITTED EXCEPT IN DESIGNATED AREAS.
PET INFORMATION	PETS MUST REMAIN ON A LEASH AT ALL TIMES. PETS MUST BE ATTENDED AT ALL TIMES.

USAGE TIMES	CHECK IN TIME IS 9:00 AM, BUT GROUP MAY OCCUPY FACILITY ANY TIME AFTER SUNRISE. CHECK OUT TIME IS 5:00 PM, BUT GROUP MAY OCCUPY FACILITY UNTIL SUNSET.
